^ECNanoteq provides a secure solution for tactical radio communications. The voice and data are encrypted within a tamper protected hardware module. The encryption algorithms and keys are securely stored inside this hardware module. This is by far superior to a software solution where the encryption algorithms and keys can easily be retrieved from a captured radio or radio modem.

The hardware module is known as the QCM-R, which is part of ^ECNanoteq’s QCM™ family of cryptographic modules. This product is a fully in-house developed product from ^ECNanoteq. It leverages on the security and technical expertise built over more than three decades.
