The VR311 RTM is a companion module for the VF360 SBC. It exposes the debug-, Ethernet- and high-speed FPGA interfaces of the VF360 to the rear of the OpenVPX rack. It can be used for development, testing, integration and final deployment of commercial and industrial systems.

The SFP cage provides a 1Gbps Ethernet connection to the DSP. Copper and optical SFP transceiver modules are supported.

The mini-USB connector provides an USB-Blaster interface to the FPGA for SignalTap® II and other JTAG based functionality, as well as an XDS100 emulator interface to the DSP for in-circuit emulation (ICE) and serial port functionality.

The two Quad SFP+ cages routes eight full-duplex High-Speed Serial Interface (HSSI) lanes to the FPGA on the X8d[1:4] and X12d[1:4] OpenVPX signals. Each QSFP+ interface supports 40G Ethernet, 4x 10G Ethernet and other high-speed serial protocols.
